This year at Wolters Kluwer CCH Connections, QuickFee is hosting a special charity event for kids.
The event will take place in the Lounge by room 304, where we will build no-sew Stuffems animals to comfort Austin children in need. All instructions and materials for building the toys will be provided.
QuickFee will be running this event all day on October 28th and up until 3 pm on October 29th. If you’d prefer to make a direct donation to our charities, just check out their websites below (or ask about donations when you stop by!)
About Our Charity Partners
QuickFee is proud to partner with SAFE (Stop Abuse for Everyone) and Partnerships for Children. Both of these incredible groups offer assistance for children who have survived family abuse, violence, or unstable living situations.
Once we build the Stuffems toys, the QuickFee team will deliver them directly to our partners, where your stuffed animal creation will reassure a little one in need. For children dealing with trauma, even small gifts can go a long way in re-establishing safety and security.
SAFE (Stop Abuse for Everyone)
Anyone can be a victim of abuse or violence. As a merger of the Austin Children’s Shelter and SafePlace – two well-respected human service agencies that helped the Austin community for decades – the SAFE Alliance now exists to end the cycle of abuse for everyone.
SAFE Austin seeks to end violence through prevention, advocacy, counseling, and comprehensive support services. Any donations to SAFE Austin will go towards emergency shelter, counseling, and support for kids and their parents.

Partnerships for Children
Partnerships for Children is a comprehensive support system for Central Texas CPS caseworkers and children. Their programs offer critical support for foster children, providing essential supplies, holiday gifts, youth mentoring programs, and many other services.
Working with the Partnerships for Children team, we’ll be donating the Stuffems that we create to the Rainbow Room. The Rainbow Room is a supply center that serves more than 650 children every month. You can also make donations through their Holiday Wishes program, which provides holiday gifts for those in Child Protective Services.
